New graduates are critical to your company surviving the Talent Wars of the early 21st century, which makes Accenture’s 2016 U.S. College Graduate Employment Strategy required reading. A few key takeaways on new grads are that:
- Only 1 in 7 want to work for a large company;
- 70% “would rather work at a company that provides an employee experience built on a positive social atmosphere and receive a lower salary”; and that
- 92% believe it’s “important to be employed at a company that demonstrates social responsibility.”
Accenture advises employers to adopt a “gig experience” for new grads and lists six recommendations at the end of the report.
