Today is Amelia Earhart’s birthday and, while most know about her mysterious disappearance, her legacy is both deeper and broader than that final flight. To build that legacy, Earhart began by seeking out female role models and scrapbooking the achievements of those she could find. Role models and mentors are critically important to everyone’s development and the best leaders purposefully seek out ones that will help them transform. So, as you head into this weekend, take a moment to reflect upon your role models and remember that we all stand on someone else’s back.
