A few months ago I found myself trying to apply the tried-and-true maxim, “If it sounds too good to be true, then it is” to the generative AI landscape… and I struggled. The seeming-wizardry of this technology can often make it difficult to separate fact from overblown fiction. So, in the midst of the smoke that is this modern gold rush, I stepped back to ponder what we all know. And what we know, in their many variations, are people.
