Biometrics have evolved well beyond fingerprints and a recent Penn State University study asked U.S. adults about their comfort level with six biometric applications: fingerprint, voice sample, facial image, eye scan, hand geometry and DNA. The results revealed a wide difference in comfort levels with fingerprinting (the oldest application) being most accepted.
