Deceptive design and dark patterns are funneling you down an infinitely scrolling click-hole from which there is no escape. These practices are very common and, with most businesses conducting business on the web, it’s quite tempting to incorporate these “tricks” into your site to maximize engagement and make it “sticky.” And yet… using behavioral psychology in this way does raise ethical questions.
