One unintended consequence of the current war in Ukraine may be a very significant shift in European and world energy markets. Oslo-based Rystad Energy recently laid out some interesting projections that place the cost of European solar PV and wind at a significantly lower price point than gas-fired generation – even if natural gas prices return to more normalized levels.
