“I don’t understand why we can’t put coffee on a pedestal like any other high-end beverage.”
– Sara Samplawska –

Sey Coffee in Brooklyn takes its joe fairly seriously and its highest priced beans sell for $29 a cup. If you’re conditioned to accept pre-ground, canned coffee as the ultimate caffeine delivery system, then $29 likely sounds high. But, if you accept the idea that coffee (like all other products and services) can range from commodity to high-end, then a $29 cup isn’t completely outlandish.

Click here for the video “Inside the World of High End Coffee” and then consider whether your organization’s offerings are a commodity, middle of the road or high end boutique. Any one of these answers is fine so long as your choice is deliberate and not de facto.
