If you’re a hophead questing for the next great brew, innovation has been your friend. Since 2010, hop acreage cultivation has doubled, resulting in a frothy explosion of new beers. Much of this can be traced back to the 1972 release of “Cascade”, which was brought to the public by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Oregon hops program.
