Between 2008 and 2016 U.S. craft beer production soared from 8.5 million barrels to nearly 26 million barrels while the number of craft breweries increased from approximately 1,500 to 7,300. It’s likely that you’ve previously observed rapid production increases with other industries, products or services. Think about that and then ask yourself whether this astounding increase is the market meeting pent-up demand or an overcorrection in supply?
