Chad Harvey (00:05): Chad Harvey here with Anne Candido expert on brand love, author of the newly released book The Super Highway of Relevancy. Anne, we just finished a fantastic session with you on branding and brand love, how to evoke emotion. Why should people care about brand love?
Anne Candido (00:22): Because in this day and age of saturated consumerism, brand love is the way that you break through. I mean, it’s just that simple because there’s so much competition now for people’s attention, for people’s time, and in order to be able to really break through, and in order to capture that consumer, you really need to connect with them on an emotional level.
Chad Harvey (00:41): Okay.
Anne Candido (00:41): And a lot of times we spend trying to connect on a cognitive level, which works in order to kind of maybe get you through the door, but it doesn’t really close the sale. So you really need to connect with them emotionally in order for it to be something that’s going to be systemic for your brand, for your brand to be able to exponentially grow.
Chad Harvey (00:58): I love it. Less head, more heart, increased sales.
Anne Candido (01:01): That’s got it, that’s got it, that’s the right way to sum it up.
Chad Harvey (01:04): Thank you very much.
Anne Candido (01:04): You’re welcome.
