Eight years ago a Japanese creative team built a gravity-powered wooden xylophone in the forest of Kyushu, Japan that plays Bach’s Cantata 147, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. While this creation was originally commissioned to help sell mobile phones, its artistry transcends its commercial origins.
