Are you hip to BOPIS? No, it’s not a new TikTok dance and, unless you’re in the retail sector, the term is probably unfamiliar to you. BOPIS stands for Buy Online Pick-up In Store and it’s a perfect example not of industry-specific jargon, but of how much has changed so quickly. Just as Amazon’s reshaping of consumer expectations influenced the business world in the 2010’s, so too will current cultural (and consumer) shifts like BOPIS impact and influence all of us – even B2B players.

So, as you notice trends and shifting behaviors, ask yourself What might this mean for our organization? … because there’s a very good chance that it means SOMETHING.
