When I walked into my local post office with a pile of 50+ boxes and padded mailers, it would have been very easy for the trainee at the counter to go into defense mode. Yet neither she nor her training supervisor blinked. They simply tore through my mailing project with a smile and 30 minutes later everything was en route.

“Service with a smile” can seem to be a tall order – especially when considering the bizarre situations and rude behaviors that front-line workers confront on a near-daily basis. Yet if a newly-minted postal worker can pull it off, then so can you and your team. The only question is whether your “why” is compelling enough for them to do so… Is it?

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Be strong. Lead well.
