This week I was privileged to have both of the Visage groups I work with hear from Shan Foster on the subject of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Shan’s sessions were an eye-opener for me and I encourage you to look for my video interview with him in the coming weeks. For today, though, I leave you with one thought from Shan’s session, where he quotes General David Morrison who remarked that “The standard we walk past is the standard we accept.”

Every day, each and every one of us walks past a great deal more than we realize. So today, take a pause and slow your roll just a bit. You’ll be amazed at what’s been right in front of you the entire time.
