Your organization is a tribe that desperately wants to recruit new members, imprint your tribe’s values upon them and retain their loyalty. Yet new employees now arrive on your doorstep with fully developed tribal allegiances and less space for your tribe. This week I have a few thoughts about the accelerated process of tribal discovery and affiliation in the modern era as well as some specific suggestions for how you can turn modern tribalism to your advantage.
