“Tony Hsieh might be the most original thinker I’ve ever been friends with. He questioned every assumption and shared everything he learned along the way. He genuinely delighted in making anyone and everyone happy. The earth has lost a beautifully weird and helpful person. RIP.”
– Chris Sacca –
It’s more than likely that you’ve heard that internet business pioneer, venture capitalist and retired CEO of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, died this past weekend under tragic circumstances. Tony’s story has loomed large in business culture for the last decade and there’s little that I can add that others haven’t already said. So instead, I encourage you to Click here to check out Tony’s 2017 interview with Guy Raz on How I Built This. Hopefully it will bring a bit of that “beautifully weird and helpful person” to inspire you on the first day of the last month of this year.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Be strong. Lead well.
