“Take your time to find and understand what you don’t know and in the end, you shall know that it is not all the things you know that shows you something you don’t know, but something you don’t know!”
– Ernest Agyemang Yeboah –
How many times do you either pass a problem along to someone else or just hope it goes away because you “don’t have the time” to learn more? You’re in good company as 40% of primary care physicians and 24% of specialists said that they lack sufficient time to do a workup for a rare disease even when they suspect their patient may have one. In medicine, this delays diagnosis and treatment. In business, this means that potential solutions are delayed, overlooked or sidelined.
What will you learn this week to help discover a solution?
#RareDiseaseDay is Thursday, February 28 and we’re counting it down. Click here for a special video from me about #RareDiseaseDay or visit rarediseaseday.org to learn more about the 1 in 10 Americans afflicted with a rare disease.
