An important part of mindfulness involves understanding yourself at a deeper level. In turn, this means gaining greater insight into how you feel… and sometimes how we feel is in pain. This is where the intellectual exercise of mindfulness meets the proverbial road of reality and separates the doers from the thinkers. This isn’t a statement of judgment, but it is a barrier to overcome.
